The IRIS Challenge to Defeat Cancer was a not for profit project that aim to raise funds and donate them to two cancer research organizations (Jason Funds & CSSSM). The IRIS Challenge to Defeat Cancer was a cross country cycling trip, by a team of three individuals, including the President of IRIS The Visual Group Dr. Francis Jean, his brother Rémi Jean, and longtime friend Gérald Carrier. The trip began in Vancouver, BC on June 10th and ended in the hometown of the Jean family, Baie-Comeau, QC on August 6th. The team cycled a total of 6000 kilometers. Although the IRIS Challenge has ended, donations are still accepted.
