Adult Eye Exams: What to expect

• Your exam will take about 30 to 60 minutes. In some cases the exam can take
  longer if the doctor performs extra tests.
• During the exam your doctor will explain your options for improving your vision
  with new lens technologies, or laser vision correction, and how nutrition, medications
  and supplements can help protect your vision and the health of your eyes - for life.
• Your doctor will explain the need to protect your eyes from damaging UV light and
  Blue Light. Please bring your current sunglasses to your appointment so we can
  verify that they provide proper protection. If there is any doubt in the quality of protection,
  your doctor will prescribe a sun solution for you.
