Londonderry Eye Care is looking for an optician/frame stylist in Londonderry Mall, Edmonton, Alberta
An optician/frame stylist is a vision care provider who is responsible for helping patients choose and use eyeglasses.
They assist customers who have obtained prescriptions written by an ophthalmologist or optometrist.
They may also repair and replace eyeglass frames to ensure a good fit.
Opticians educate customers about lens treatment and eyewear.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answer questions and make recommendations to fit the customer's needs. - Helping with the selection and fitting of eyewear for your customers. - Frame adjustments and repairs to give the perfect fit. - Create work orders for lab technicians and provide relevant information for them to make new lenses - Verify glasses for patients pick up - Dispensing glasses to patients - Complete additional daily office tasks such as keeping records of clients’ prescriptions, preparing paperwork for customers’ insurance payments and taking payments
