The Advantages of Daily Contact Lenses

The Advantages of Daily Contact Lenses

There are two types of contact lenses: daily and monthly. They are different, each having its unique features.

Monthly contact lenses are designed to be worn for 30 days.  The contact lenses are made of a material that is both hard and durable for them to last longer and avoid them from wearing out prematurely. However, this option is costlier than dailies and requires maintenance that is more suited to the more meticulous wearer. It is indeed important to clean your monthly contact lenses with a special solution. They should not be worn at night when you are sleeping and need to be removed immediately if torn or worn out.

One-day contact lenses are designed to be worn, as the name suggests, for one day only. Unlike monthly contact lenses, they are more flexible. Daily disposable contact lenses can be easier to wear, but this depends on the individual's habits and sensitivity to wearing contact lenses.

Since these contact lenses can only be worn once, they do not require any special care. However, a daily disposable lens that has already been worn cannot be worn again as this can cause inflammation or even an eye infection. Despite this, wearing contact lenses is still more convenient. At the end of the day, you can simply throw them away and put on another pair. It is also more suitable for active people to wear 1-day contact lenses. After a sports session, contact lenses can be discarded and replaced with new ones. In addition, they are comfortable to wear and do not fog up, so they can provide clear, sharp vision no matter the weather.

Contact lenses are extremely fragile, and they must be handled with care to ensure optimal vision and eye health. Contact lenses are in direct contact with the eyes. Incorrect handling can lead to impaired vision and/or eye pain.

Contact lenses must be kept clean at all times. It is imperative to wash your hands before handling them to avoid the risk of infection and inflammation. Contact lenses must be used for the correct amount of time, and this is especially true for dailies.
