On Friday, October 4, IRIS held a VIP Event at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum in Old Montreal. The event was part of the Conference of Optometrists of Quebec, held from October 4 to 6 at the Palais des congrès. This was an ideal opportunity for Optometrists to meet and exchange ideas in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Every year, the IRIS Event brings Optometrists from the IRIS network, those from other banners, and students from the Université de Montréal School of Optometry. The event strengthens Pes within the optometry community while showcasing IRIS and its various initiatives across the regions of Quebec. This year's event featured the Côte-Nord, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Estrie, Mauricie and Lanaudière regions, each represented by a unique culinary station inspired by local flavours.
In addition to the gastronomic delights, guests had the opportunity to leave with a personalized souvenir, thanks to the presence of an illustrator who created charming and playful portraits of the parPcipants. The atmosphere was animated by a DJ who adjusted the music to match the energy of the evening, creating a setting conducive to exchanges.
President Eric Babin, accompanied by his Vice-Presidents, was also on hand to chat with Optometrists from all over Quebec. This presence reinforced the spirit of collaboration and celebrated the year's shared successes.
Once again, this annual event stood out for its welcoming and festive atmosphere. Through flavours and exchanges, it highlighted the diversity and richness of Quebec's regions, an event worthy of the passion and dedication that drive IRIS professionals.
We're already looking forward to next year!
