It was in 1986 that Dr. Francis Jean opened his first optometry clinic in his hometown of Baie-Comeau on the Cote-Nord of Quebec. Visionary and human, Dr. Jean developed a practice based on the quality of care, services and products offered. It was in 1990, with optometrists who shared his values, that he founded IRIS, The Visual Group.
In 2020, IRIS has created its own frame collection called, LYA.
