But, what is a polarized lens?

Neutral Grey: this coloured lens offers the highest available light reduction for
the richest colours and sharpest contrast. Recommended in bright, direct sunlight.
HCL (High Contrast Lens) Bronze: provides a beautiful warm tint, excellent for varied, everyday conditions. Recommended for everyday use.
Maui Rose: a subtle rose tint with the highest available contrast perfect for fast moving sports. Recommended for action activities.

Maui HT (High Transmission): these lenses should be used when the other lens would normally be too dark. This lens offers extra contrast and colour. Recommended for low light and golf.
Materials
Great care is given to the choice of materials chosen to make Maui Jim sunglasses. The sunglasses are classified in four different categories, which can be selected based on the type of activity you use them for:

MauiBrilliant™ - Maui Jim's most advanced lens material that features optics nearly as clear as glass with just one-third of the weight.
MauiPure™ - the most popular lens material. It combines optics almost as crisp as SuperThin Glass with ultra lightweight and excellent scratch and shatter resistance.
Maui Evolution™ - features the lightweight and scratch and shatter resistance of polycarbonate while offering a much higher optical clarity.
