Kate Spade, first and foremost a woman of vision
Behind Kate Spade the mogul, is Katherine Noel Brosnahan, the woman, married to Andy Spade, who was a journalist long before becoming a designer. Seeing that there was little choice in the affordable luxury segment to match her desires, Kate decided to found her own brand in 1993. She initially designed handbags with bright colours and original concepts that quickly found their way into the most prestigious boutiques in Paris, New York and Milan.

Kate Spade quickly understood the importance of diversification and in 2004 launched lines for the home (stationery, wallpaper, table linens, tableware, decoration), followed in 2007 by perfumes, cosmetics, shoes, ready-to-wear and eyewear.
The label works its magic in all of its accessories; the freshness of the style, the quality of the products make Kate Spade a name to be reckoned with its popularity still growing.
