Here's our favourite recipe: Spinach and Blueberry Energizing Smoothie
Ingredients:
- A handful of fresh spinach
- One cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- One ripe banana
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
Preparation
- Start by thoroughly washing the spinach and blueberries. Peel and chop the banana. Make sure all ingredients are ready to use.
- In a blender, add the spinach, blueberries, banana, plain yogurt, chia seeds and honey (if you prefer a sweeter smoothie). Then, pour in the almond milk.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk to achieve the desired consistency.
- Pour your smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy immediately. You can also garnish it with fresh blueberries or a pinch of chia seeds for an aesthetic touch.
