We asked four opticians of the great IRIS family to pick their favourite frames just for you!

-How long have you been working at IRIS?
I started working for IRIS in November of 2005 when the Camrose location was opened.
-What brand of sunglasses or prescription glasses do you wear in your everyday life?
I don't remember the last sunglasses I got that weren't Maui Jim's ....So they are definitely my favorite!! My clear prescription glasses are a Seraphin frame. They are fun yet classy and have a slight hint of glitter and I love sparkle!
-What do you like the most about your work?
My favorite part of my job is when you find that one frame that looks amazing on someone and it looks like it was made for them!
-In your opinion, what makes IRIS different from other optical brands?
IRIS is different because they offer the most technologically advanced lenses in the world of eyecare and our patients see the difference!

I absolutely love the crystal with a hint of pink and stunning rose gradient lenses...Larger frame with great coverage and it has the super thin glass lenses in a plano so it really is durable. And for a prescription it can hold up to -6.50 or +3.00, such a nice wide range in power.

-How long have you been working at IRIS?
I have been with London/IRIS since Feb 7th/1994. It'll be 25 yrs in 2019. A great accomplishment I believe.

I only wear Maui Jim Rx and OGA for my every day pair.
-What do you like the most about your work?
Leading people and watching them develop and succeed.
-In your opinion, what makes IRIS different from other optical brands?
When I first met Dr Jean, he said ‘’Remember one thing, not everyone will become an IRIS patient. Some will walk away and that's ok.’’ I knew at that moment it wasn't just about the dollar. We were selling vision, not glasses. I’m sorry for the one's who never got to meet Dr. Jean.

I have liked Maui Jim since the beginning, to me they have the highest quality polarized lenses. I like all the choices of lens color options, this will be my next pair with HT Lenses.

I’ve been working at IRIS for a year now. I have been working as an optician since 19 years!
-What brand of sunglasses or prescription glasses do you wear in your everyday life?
For eyeglasses, I love the new Michael Kors collection because it is affordable and because it can suit someone of any age and any style. When it comes to shades, I love Maui Jim sunglasses. As I always tell my patients: once you try Maui Jim, you won’t want to wear anything else afterwards! Their fully coated and polarized lenses really give a unique vision to the person who’s wearing them.
-What do you like the most about your work?
I love my job as an optician! The most beautiful part of it is to help my patients create their new look while helping them experience better vision.
-In your opinion, what makes IRIS different from other optical brands?
IRIS is always on the lookout for innovation the field of ophthalmic lenses and contact lenses. We work for the patient at so many different levels. The goal of IRIS is to offer a price range that will be interesting regardless of the budget and the needs of the patient. We are using the IRIS Profile to better help our patients determine what is the best solution for them!

I chose for this pair of sunglasses because I love this curvy-shaped frame! I also really like the transparency of it. It gives it such a feminine twist.

I am currently wearing FYSH 3595/783 with my prescription contacts (Oasys 1-day) I wear the new Maui Jim Cinder Cone with the Blue Hawaii tinted lenses.
